Songwriting with Martin Longstaff and Natasha Haws. Songwriters Martin Longstaff (aka. The Lake Poets) and Natasha Haws return to Sunderland for more inspiring sessions in writing lyrics and crafting tunes. Whether you want to play your own songs or you’re just interested in writing lyrics and hearing someone singing them you’ll feel at home (and possibly deafened!) at this group. Supported with funding from Sunderland Music Education Hub, the Sunderland Cuckoo Songwriters Club is open to young people aged 12-19. They are FREE to attend – just come along. Tall Ships Songbank Twilight Singing Squad

Keeping Tutors Safe

A training session designed specifically for Tutors, led by Pam Gartland from Safeguarding First, in association with Sunderland Music Hub. The session will share recent legislation changes for Tutors working in Sunderland to ensure understanding of every individuals roles and responsibilities within the Keeping children safe in education guidance, updated by the DfE September 2016. Open and free to all practitioners. Tutors registered with Sunderland Music Education Hub's practitioner list will receive a £50 subsidy for attending the training.
