Infantasia – singing event for nursery/KS1 children linked to Tall Ships

This year Sunderland Music Hub is able to relaunch the popular Infantasia singing event. Aimed at younger children, this is a lovely performance opportunity for your pupils who may feel intimidated performing at large scale events. Linked to Tall Ships, schools can learn a range of songs listed on our Songs for Sunderland Songbank on Charanga (www.sunderlandmusicdigital.org.uk). We can provide a vocal practitioner to come into the schools to help those not confident in their schools singing provision, to work with the children and enjoy a more confident experience. Managing the Change in Boys Voices for Singing

Led by Martin Ashley 1pm (registration, starting from 1.00)  1.30 to 3.30pm – Managing the Change in Boys Voices with Sing UP launch – a session aimed at Secondary school teachers, and Vocal leaders, opened up to any Primary Teachers who may have a good choral offer in school, and can be released by their Head Teachers. There is a further session which Teachers/tutors can attend, although there will be some duplication across these sessions. Sponsor a Tall Ships Stage – open to schools and organisations

On TUESDAY 10th July, Tall Ships are offering the opportunity for your school or your arts organisation to sponsor a stage. You will have full access to the stage area to programme your own concert. Your children could act as stage managers, concert programmers and divas, and parents would be able to see their children showcase the music, theatrical or dance work your school has been producing over the last, or previous years, all for free. Tall Ships are programming two stages of music and arts activities for the duration of the Tall Ships event from Tuesday 10th to Saturday 14th

Tall Ships Massed Sing World Record Attempt – 11th July 2019

At 11am on 11th July, join Sunderland Music Hub, Tall Ships, Charanga, Sing UP!, North Yorkshire Music Action Zone and schools across Sunderland in an attempt to break a world record for the most people singing at the same time. Our Voices Foundation Choral Leadership programme culminates in an online, massed sing, live streamed from the Tall Ships open air stage on St Peter's Campus next to the National Glass Centre. schools  gain Arts Awards throughout the day. schools can join in with a Big Sing at Sunderland Empire please note the St Peter's Campus stage is now FULL Every child
